Hello darlings! Today has been an especially fun Thursday. I am in the process of a blog re-design and couldn’t be more excited! My dear friend Alex Creswell and I went on a mini photoshoot adventure so that I could have a fun, personal photo to incorporate in the design of the blog. The top photo from the gorgeous new issue of Rue Magazine was my inspiration- isn’t it awesome? The shoot was followed by a trip to Home Depot to pick out paint samples for my new studio that I’m moving into in August. I snapped some photos on my iPhone of Alex (the hottie with the camera) and myself to share with you.. Yay! I hope your Thursday was just as lovely.

Taylor and Sarah met in San Luis Obispo as co-workers at the Apple store. They immediately realized they had a lot in common, started hanging out after work, and quickly fell in love. When Taylor moved to Seattle for a job transfer a year later, he asked Sarah to join him in Washington, and she said yes. When Sarah first moved, they lived thirty minutes away from each other and after months of late night drives home from dates, Taylor asked Sarah to marry him. The proposal was on a rooftop overlooking Seattle—so romantic! They started planning and the couple immediately knew they wanted to invite all of their friends and family to the bride’s hometown of Turlock, CA for their wedding day.
The almond blossoms (which Turlock is known for) were in full bloom and the venue was the gorgeous Pageo Lavender Farm, just down the road from Sarah’s home. I love how Sarah wanted to incorporate a lot of family traditions into their wedding. The whole day was incredibly special, meaningful, and full of love. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Potter!

Happy first day of April friends! Spring is such a special time of year. The season of transition between winter and summer almost seems magical, doesn’t it? Maybe it’s because of all the gorgeous wildflowers starting to bloom. Or maybe it’s because the sun starts gracing us with it’s presence once again, this time staying out later and giving us more time to play. It could be the adventurers in us, excited to be back in the warm air, once again exploring nature and the beautiful place we are blessed to live.
Whatever the reasoning behind it, spring is undoubtedly refreshing. It is also a super fun season for fashion. I’ve had a blast putting together this collection of looks for you all. It’s time to break out the coral, white, seafoam and blush, and start having fun once again with the colors, patterns and textures of your clothing and accessories. Enjoy!

Happy Valentine’s Day darlings! Although I believe romance, flowers and hot dates with your sweetheart should be consistent and spontaneous throughout the year, I have to admit that I do adore Valentine’s Day. Celebrating love and passion with lace, glitter, a gorgeous palette of pink and red and lots of sweets sounds pretty much perfect in my book!
Enjoy this cute and causal Valentine’s shoot we put together, inspired by love and the recent seventy degree sunshine we’ve had here on the coast! A huge thank you to my assistant Gabbie, our models Lenae and Randy, and Alex Creswell of Cameron Ingalls, Inc., who captured it perfectly. And be sure to check out this shoot featured on Green Wedding Shoes! xoxo
